Ancient language, contemporary music, stunning vocals, poignant stories, and guitar brilliance.
Over many years, the Noongar language has been reduced to a whisper. There are currently less than 400 fluent speakers. Kalyakoorl, ngalak warangka, (Forever, we sing), is a celebration of the rare Noongar language and the things we share as a community.
Through their passion for the Noongar language intertwined with the power of music and storytelling, join multi-award-winning duo Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse as they take you on a journey through the four principles that guide their work — Koort (Heart), Moort (Family & Community), Boodja (Land & connection to country) and Koorlangka (Children and Legacy).
Doors swing open at 6pm. Please join us for a drink at the licensed bar and a delicious curry dinner which is INCLUDED IN THE TICKET PRICE! We will be sure to cater to all taste buds, including kids.

After a hilarious hit tour season in February 2021, this special comedy night designed just for towns in the Great Southern is back with a new musical flair! With Fitz of Laughter's favorite spots like Ravensthorpe and Lake Grace seeing return shows, special one-off shows have been added in Borden and Jerramungup.
We’re excited to be bringing a lineup of all WA-based comedians (or comedians that made it across the border quick enough) to our region. This time we will see the inclusion of a killer musician Myles Mitchel from Denmark.

Listen to the tender heart of Tua the whale, the absurd conversation of the three raindrops and listen to the tale of the boastful herring.
Original and traditional water-themed stories gathered from around the globe and delivered by a consummate story teller, Jenny Hill and simultaneously animated by performer Sandy McKendrick.
These delightful tales and more are performed with an evocative mix of storytelling, puppetry, acoustic music and visual imagery with a variety of techniques used such as sand art projection, illustration and shadow work.

Wonky Pots Clay Session

As part of Amy Dwyer’s The 'SESSIONS' this #creationsession has come to life in collaboration with Vicki from Wonky Pots in Torbay! Amy & Vicky will join us at the Pavilion on Sunday May 30 for a day of connection and creation.
Arriving from 830 we kick off our day at 9am with a visualisation and meditation led by Amy then a little sweet treat as grounding before we jump into the clay creation
2 sessions throughout the day will allow for creation and the a chance to add colour by way of underglaze should you wish... led by the magnificent Vicki with a wealth of knowledge
Your work will be available after Vicki and Bertha - her beloved kiln work their magic post event
There will be a magical take home pack for every attendee
A yummy lunch, tea, real coffee, sweet treats and afternoon sparkles will be provided all you need being is yourself and an apron if you like... there may be more for this list but I will let you know asap

BORDEN X CUP 2021
The Borden X Cup returns for another exciting day of AFLX and FAST5!
12 AFLX sides and 8 FAST5 sides will compete in round robin matches culminating in grand finals for each code in the afternoon. The winner of the AFLX competition will take home $2500 and the winner of FAST5 will pocket $1500.
